BASICALLY SLICK DISARMS HEI. A LOT. A WHOLE LOT. The combination of Ticky's understanding of the duality thing, weird... honesty... things...., and the physical stuff leaves Hei kind of. Reeling. A lot. Because Slick can and does piss him off, can take him on and best him in a fight, is still willing to help and at least pretend to be a little concerned while simultaneously being totally okay with digging his claws into Hei's wounds and letting him fuck himself up further. The sexual stuff is TOTALLY NEW TO HEI and he is floundering a lot, there, but it's obvious they both enjoy it, so there's something like closeness, there. At the same time, the fighting and biting and zaps and lasers are very satisfying. ALSO SLICK MANAGES TO BE SILLY ENOUGH TO MAKE HEI LAUGH. HONESTLY LAUGH. WHILE BEING 'BLACK', for lack of a better term. And yeah, Hei has a sense of humor even in his 'black' form, but it's usually pretty dark. The only times we ever see it in canon when he echos Wei after their first fight, with the whole "You're fast, but not fast enough" line.

S-so yes, Slick manages to drag a lot of Hei's actual SELF/honest reactions out in the open, and it's confusing as hell. But he still likes Slick. Not that he'll admit it.

I am working on that Rayflo app and it already has twelve bullets in the pre-powercap abilities section. Why do I feel like this is too little, and do you have any suggestions I might be missing because unable to access actual manga right now?

Rayflo doesn't make Cherry sunlight proof, it's more that he has never committed the vampiric sin of drinking human blood, and thus never 'fallen' enough for sunlight to kill him. This does mean that despite that whole thing where Cherry hated Rayflo for 100 years, he still without fail showed up about once a week to rape him 8D;

#7: Isaak: Isaak wanted alcohol and Ticky was being kind of 'lol my life' about the 'i guess i am a prostitute now' thing. But in the end they agreed to fuck anyway. Does Slick have an opinion on Hei's whole... AVOIDS SEMI-FORMER ENEMY, STARTS TALKING ABOUT WHITE SIDE STOPS TALKING ABOUT HER bullshit?

Not really, he picked Hei out as a kind of awkward kid pretty quickly. He can tell that Hei's black/white lives are out of necessity far more than pleasure. Slick's was partly out of necessity (it was the best way to stay even marginally sane and humane) but mostly out of pleasure (couldn't let go of his white side). To him they were both equally True and he embraced both wholly. Hei's is more... purposeful? I have to live THIS sort of life to do THESE sorts of things to make it in THIS kind of world. And now that that is no longer true he's clearly at a bit of a loss. Slick doesn't necessarily think this is mm... bad in any way? Or 'less' because Hei's motives for splitting his life are different? But it also results in a lot more cross over because he doesn't think Hei is naturally all that divided a person.

ANYWAY WHAT THIS AMOUNTS TO is he aware that Hei is kind of floundering in various ways, with his identity, personal expectations/world expectations etc, so when Hei kind of... rolls around doing awkward things like I DON'T TALK ABOUT MYSELF >> proceeds to talk about self, etc. Slick just sort of sees it as the extension of those problems with his personhood and figures it will eventually smooth out and whatever.

I have all kind of world info up in her journal, but what it basically amounts to is Sagauro was raised a society where vampires socially dominate and in a sector where vampire/human relations where extremely friendly! The orphanage she was raised in was mostly manned by vampires, Eli, her adopted father/true love (who is basically Rayflo... s-somehow) is a vampire. Her surrogate older brother is a vampire, her only major sexual relationship was with a vampire, and the last five years of her life were spent with vampires who she became to be friends with and very fond of before she had to murder them all for the sake of humanity.

What it AMOUNTS TO is while she is okay with humans and has had important relationships with humans, vampires have been MUCH more constant and reliable in her life (of her two major import human relationships, one turned out to be spying on Eli and the other sort of was the person Eli was really in love with), when she was growing up, she was burn scarred and aggressive and Did Not Make Friends Well with the other kids aaand in the end she was just always more comfortable with them.

Which isn't to say that she can't live with humans okay, but she has literally ALWAYS had vampires in her life ALL her life and they have been major players, both personally and socially, and living in a place with NO VAMPIRES is really fucking weird and uncomfortable '-';

BECAUSE IT'S HIS SABRA NAME AND WHAT I'VE CALLED HIM FOR LIKE A YEAR

Eli, short for Helio Phobia, who normally goes by Hel, was a young vampire when his really crazy high charm ability, which was so strong that he could just completely and utterly make people love him to the point where they would work tirelessly to do ANYTHING, was used by an organization he joined with the intent of making vampires socially equal to humans (who at the time largely didn't even believe vampires existed). It worked, and as a result, about 70% of humanity was wiped out, either dead or become vampires. Eli was kind of understandably traumatized by the aftermath, that he manipulated someone into doing this, and for the next 250ish years was pretty much incapable of expressing any real desires of his own, because his natural charisma/an offshoot of his crazy mind manipulation skills, means people tend to fall in love with him. Soo while he unconditionally accepts their love (and loves them in turn) he sort of avoids ever saying or doing anything that would lead to them doing things FOR him.

However, 250ish years from that time he sort of helped commit genocide, Eli appears to be emotionally recovered and overall competent, kind of free spirited and unreliable in the sense that he won't push his way into anyone's life, but is charming and poly and highly sexual so that a lot of women and men tend to take him up on his flirtatious side, usually not for very long. He heads a rather large commune of about six other people (at the moment) and has for the last 100+ years pretty much ALWAYS had people (Vampires and humans alike) living with him for various periods of time. Sometimes as lovers, sometimes as friends, sometimes as temporary adoption measures.

Overally he is a nice, sexual, sexy guy with a strong moral code and a lot of awareness of the effect he has on others, a thing he tries to limit overall. But his paranoia over WHY people love him and just how far they will go for him without perhaps truly meaning it leads to him being rather aloof, and at times utterly helpless to stop those around him from making bad choices.

Will you still have sex with Slick after Bai shows up...

I am vaguely horrified by how well i remember the in-headpace topping, to be perfectly honest.

Baassically not a lot =|a It's outside of Ticky's personal range of experience and he's not very empathic with things he doesn't understand. Maybe a faint sort of hint toward 'oh she's kind of like his Rhode' except Ticky's feelings toward Rhode aren't much like Hei's feelings toward Bai. Probably just a sort of lol i guess you lost something you love, that sucks but that's also life. LE SHRUG.
